1. Purpose

Seir Örme Ticaret A.Ş. (“Seir Örme Brand” or “Company”) aims to process the personal data of individuals calling its call center in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and other relevant legislation.

Due to your call to the Seir Örme Brand call center, we inform you that the personal data you have provided/will provide to our Company and/or obtained by our Company through any means will be processed by Seir Örme Brand as the “Data Controller”,

  • within the scope of the purpose requiring their processing and in connection with, limited to, and proportionate to this purpose,
  • maintaining the accuracy and the most up-to-date version of your personal data as you have reported or as it has been reported to us, and processed under the conditions set forth in the KVKK.

2. Collection and Method of Your Personal Data

Seir Örme Brand will process your personal data through its call center for the purposes specified in this Clarification Text. If there is any change in the purpose of processing your personal data, this Clarification Text will be updated and republished by Seir Örme Brand.

The personal data collected through the call center by Seir Örme Brand includes:

  • Name-surname, email address, phone number (mobile), voice recording, address information, product information, invoice information

Your personal data is collected electronically through any information you have communicated to our Company via the call center.

3. Explanations Regarding the Processing of Your Personal Data

Seir Örme Brand may continue to store personal data of individuals calling the call center even if the purpose of use ceases, if it is stipulated in another law or if separate consent is given by the relevant person. Except for this exceptional situation, if the purpose of data processing ceases, the mentioned personal data will be immediately deleted, destroyed, or anonymized by Seir Örme Brand.

4. Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data will be processed for the purposes specified below, using automated or non-automated methods, in accordance with the provisions set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.

The purposes of processing personal data are as follows and may be updated in line with our Company policies and legal obligations:

  • Conducting activities in accordance with the legislation
  • Managing finance and accounting operations
  • Conducting/inspecting business activities
  • Conducting sales processes of goods/services
  • Managing customer relationship processes

Your personal data is processed in compliance with the legal grounds that processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract, and processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Your personal data will be retained for the period specified in the relevant legislation or for the period necessary for the purpose of processing and in any case, for the statutory limitation periods.

5. Transfer of Your Personal Data to Third Parties

The procedures and principles to be applied for personal data transfers are regulated in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, and the personal data of the relevant person may be transferred to third parties.

Your personal data is transferred to:

  • BR Mağazacılık A.Ş., dealers, the company managing our application's database, and to servers located abroad due to email and system servers being located outside the country, for the purposes of:
  • Conducting activities in accordance with the legislation
  • Managing finance and accounting operations
  • Conducting/inspecting business activities
  • Conducting sales processes of goods/services
  • Managing customer relationship processes

6. Your Rights

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, individuals whose personal data is processed may request the following from Seir Örme Brand:

  • To learn whether their personal data is processed,
  • To request information if their personal data has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing their personal data and whether it is used in accordance with the purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom their personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
  • To request the correction of their personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, and to request the notification of the correction to the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred,
  • To request the deletion, destruction, or anonymization of their personal data in case the reasons for its processing cease to exist, and to request the notification of this action to the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred,
  • To object to the emergence of a result against the data subject by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • To request the compensation of the damage if they suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of their personal data.

You can submit your requests arising from the KVKK to us in accordance with the procedures and principles specified in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller or through the “Data Subject Application Form” available at [https://serianno.com.tr/ilgili-kisi-basvuru-formu/]. Seir Örme Brand will conclude application requests free of charge as soon as possible and no later than 30 (thirty) days, in accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK. In case of rejection of the request, the reason/reasons for the rejection will be communicated in writing or electronically with the justification.

The relevant person calling the call center undertakes that the personal data subject to this Clarification Text is complete, accurate, and up-to-date. In case of any change in their personal data, the relevant person will inform Seir Örme Brand and request the update of their personal data. Seir Örme Brand will not have any responsibility if the relevant person has not provided accurate and up-to-date information.

This Clarification Text may be revised by Seir Örme Brand when deemed necessary. In case of a revision, you will be informed of this matter. You can access the most current version of the Clarification Text at [https://serianno.com.tr/aydinlatma-metni/].
